In order to import a document from Fidelity, you have to use the same login ID and password through TurboTax that you ordinarily use if you are just going onto your Fidelity account on the internet. If you do not have those established with Fidelity, you would have to do that first in order to try to import something into TT.
I have turbotax premier 2020 and attempted to import my 1099 from Fidelity. Everything seems to go ok -logged in, imported the numbers etc. But when its all said and done, nothing is remembered by turbotax. I have done this for many years - this appears to be a bug in the software
I cannot import from TurboTax Premier 2020 to Fidelity. This continues to be a bug. Any help?

Some investment companies have changed their security settings. You may need to check to see if Fidelity is continuing to allow third-party access. Although the following Help Article is for Schwab, it is possible that your brokerage has restricted TurboTax's access to your statements unless you grant consent. So you might need to do something similar to what is described here How can I fix my 1099 import issue?
