Cannot import 1099 data from Edward Jones

I originally opened this thread back on Feb 13..  Today, after the TT downloaded and applied patches, my ability to download from Edward Jones functionality was restored.  I did nothing different than I had previously.  Also, I am not signed on via browser to the edward jones site as many have suggested was a work around.  It appears TT finally addressed the code defect that was introduced weeks back

Just tried...still won't import from EJ.  I use a MAC Book Air on 12.6.4 and Safari on 16.3 TT Premier for tax year 2022 for MAC.  Also, I noticed TT does not have an update for me says I'm up to date.  

 

TT may have to patch the Mac App.

 

Are you on Windows or a MAC?

Logging in with Chrome worked for me. I did not set Chrome as my default (as I use Brave browser), but once I logged in with Chrome, got my two factor authentication code and "remembered" the device I was able to import my Edward Jones 1099 successfully.

I imported some Edward Jones tax info a couple weeks ago. I am now trying to import the rest and I get the wrong userid or password message. It is not the wrong one as I used to several times to get on the Edward Jones account access site. Please help me finish my tax preparation as I really do not want have to manually put in all this information That is why I bought Turbo Tax. Thanks,jj

Same problem here - Tried to import a month ago and worked ok but not all doc's were ready from Edward Jones.

Today updated Turbo Tax and get this same error message

I found my issue

I use Chrome but TT was trying Edge.

I went to Edge logged into EDJ answered all the security questions and said "Remember This Device"

Then TT allowed me to sign into EDJ and import files

To refresh: I use TT Premier download for MAC. My MAC is 12.6.4 and my browser is Safari 16.3.

 

I started TT Premier and it went through the update process and started up successfully.  I then went to Safari Preferences, Privacy, Manage Website Data and scrolled down to Edward Jones Cache, Cookies etc and "removed".  Then went to EJ site, had to authenticate via code in text message and logged in.  Checked "Remember this computer" to avoid that authentication and went back to TT Premier.  

 

Went to "Import" in TT Premier.  After entering my userid and password TT Premier successfully imported all of my tax data.  I just finished checking the import and all appears to be correct.  

 

So, it was either the weekly update from TT or the refresh of the Cache, Cookies etc.  I hope this helps another MAC download user out there.

Clearing my cache/cookies/etc worked for me on Chrome just now -- thanks!

I am having the same issue, I know my EDJones access is correct since I can login directly but not thru Turbo Tax.
