Accidentally entered wrong info for capital loss carry over. Since i did not file taxes in 2023 my capital loss carryover should be 0$. TurboTax will not allow me to adjust the capital loss carryover back to 0$ now without me paying for Premium. There is no reason for me to have to pay for premium since i am not using the capital loss carryover and I only have disability income this year.
I have tried editing this to 0$ by upgrading to premium then doing a clear and restart so I can go back to free version but the incorrect capital loss carryover that I accidentally entered for 2023 does not clear.
There is clearly a glitch in your software here. How do I resolve? Thank you

2 days no response and no way to talk to customer support via phone? I have always used TurboTax to do my taxes but It seems it may be time to explore alternatives if no one can help me resolve this issue.
You should be able to delete the capital loss carryover amount in the Wages and Income section, then Investment Income, then Capital Loss Carryover:
It can only be deleted if I pay 200$ for premium.. won’t allow me to delete or remove it in free version.. definitely a glitch in the software I’ve tried it a dozen times
It literally asks me if I filed taxes in 2023 to which I say NO.. if my answer is no then it shouldn’t even allow for me to enter a 2023 capital loss carryover
If you use the help option on your screen to talk with an agent they can probably remedy the situation for you.
I tried that it wanted me to pay money to talk to a live agent. I do not need tax advice I just need you guys to fix bug in your software. I don’t see why I should have to pay for that.
