I am having the same problem. I am ready to file but there is a mistake in my entry in form 2210. When I go to the underpayment penalty section, I can edit my numbers but it does not carry on to the form and hence I am stuck at reviewing the federal return. Please help
I am having the same problem - it says that the Form 2210 Line D The sum of the 4 columns is not equal to your withholding for the year. The numbers actually do add up, however when you preview the form it appears as if the 4 columns have collapsed into 3. I even changed the numbers to make sure they add up among these 3 columns but apparently I would need to add a 0 in the 4th non-existent column. Unfortunately with this bug it will not let me efile and wants me to print and mail my taxes. I am not happy! Over 1 hour wait for customer service and I doubt they will be able to fix this readily. We should be able to manually edit each form, if needed.
I was able to resolve it by deleting the form 2210 and then redoing the section. Had a TT Customer service rep on phone and she said that since the entries were filled before the form was finalized by IRS, in order to edit it you need to delete it and add it again.
thanks! support also had me delete the form. the #s did not change (there were 2 form 2210, deleted the one that did not say penalty) and she just had me submit the taxes without re-adding the form. I hope my taxes aren't rejected... eeps. thanks for the tip I wish I had seen this first.
