Cancel my return I didn’t finish

In TurboTax Online (TTO) on the left menu you can go to Tax Tools>Tools>Clear & Start Over to remove your tax return data. You do not pay for your tax return until filing in TTO.

In TurboTax Desktop (TTD), you have already paid for the product when starting the return, so you would need to delete the tax return from your computer if you no longer want to keep or file it. To start a new return, click File>New Tax Return in TTD.
