Scottrade provides you with two options to import information into TurboTax®.
Using TurboTax® to ImportYou can import your Scottrade 1099 directly into TurboTax®. This will require that you input your Scottrade® login information before TurboTax® imports your data. This option is available for both the online and download versions of TurboTax®.

You can also import a TXF file from the Gain/Loss & Tax Center located within your account. This option is available for the download version of TurboTax® product only.
Download Gain/Loss & Tax Center information into a TXF file:
Log into your TurboTax® software and import the TXF file:
Keep in mind that the TXF file includes realized transactions only and does not include interest and dividend information.
It is important to verify the accuracy of the Gain/Loss & Tax Center report. After importing the TXF file into tax preparation software, compare the results of the tax software with the Tax Center realized report and edit imported data if necessary.
