can't load/install 2019 TurboTax CD

Every time I insert the CD...it reads for a minute or two and then stops with popup window "insert a disc".I cannot view the files contained on CD using Windows 10 file manager, it ejects.When "insert disc" popup is shown, it does NOT disappear when disc is inserted.Followed the instructions to turn off virus protection, and disconnected internet, with same result.Tried the Windows System File Checker tool, same result.Checked that the drive was functioning by loading a different software CD...it works and files visible.Wasted too much time already...can't believe I am only one with this problem.
