I wanted to type in my 1099- INT and 1099-DIV by myself, not log in and download each entry from each investment firm. So, I fiddled with the new interface which implores you to import them. I didn't import, clicked skip, but ended up with four Untitled, Blank 1099-B forms. They show up on screen on the listing of all DIV and INT entries. They do show their little trash can on-screen, making you believe they are easy to delete. But, when I click the trashcan item, the entire screen highlights, goes grey...and then nothing gets deleted. They don't show up in the Forms view, so I can't delete them there. But they show up as "Needs Review." How can I delete them? Again, downloaded Turbotax for Macintosh, OS 14.7.3, Turbotax Deluxe 2024

I just experimented with entering and deleting some investment income items using TurboTax for Mac 2024 and didn't encounter a problem with Review or with the screens doing something unexpected.
You might try saving and exiting the return, exiting TurboTax and reopening the return. Go back to the Income section and delete each investment income item that's not needed.
See this help article for troubleshooting steps for Mac issues.

If after trying all of the options mentioned you still have the same problem:

I have the same problem with 1099-INT. 've tried deleting it in the forms menu and quitiung and restarting but it stll shows up in the easy step.
it depends. Even though it shows up in the easy step, check your form 1040 in the forms and see if it appears in line 2B.
I'm assuming you're deleting a 1099 low down the list you had to scroll? when you hit delete the screen goes grey because there's a dialog box asking you to confirm the deletion, but it's right back at the top of the list so you have to scroll all the way back up to click Yes...
it's absolutely terrible design.
Absolutely true TERRIBLE DESIGN!!
I have the same problem. I click on the trash can, the screen goes all grey and I hit the confirm and nothing happens. Can’t get rid of the int and did I no longer have in the easy step.
I just tested deleting a 1099-B item on my Mac.
When you click on the trash can, the screen does go grey, but at the top of the screen there appears a pop-up question asking you to confirm that you want to delete the item. If you click on the option to confirm, then the item will be deleted.
If you aren't seeing the pop-up screen, you may need to adjust the size/resolution of your screen.
Another expert recommended the following to adjust font/text size:
How to Increase the Text Size on Your Mac
Another description of the fix to adjust the resolution on your screen, appears on this Apple Support page:
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Displays in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Select the display you want to adjust, then select the resolution you want to use. You may be able to turn on “Show all resolutions” to see additional resolutions for the display.
Depending on how you adjust the resolution, some app windows may not fit entirely on the screen. Using a scaled resolution may affect performance.
In the alternative, you could hook up a separate monitor to your Mac with a larger display area.
You could also choose to delete the item in Forms Mode. Choose Forms from the top screen menu and locate the form that has the item you want to delete. You can delete a form or remove the entry from the form.
@MonikaK1 have you tested with large number of 1099s and delete the last one so you see the yes/no isn’t at the top of the screen you have to scroll back up, its not necessarily a user screen resolution issue. Also try editing the last one in the list - it puts you at the top and you have to scroll back down. Pls can you make sure this feedback is getting to the product team to get fixed, they need to be designing and testing for large number of 1099s.
Your suggestion to delete from the forms mode worked. None of the other methods worked for me so I was happy you suggested this one! Thank you!
Thank you so much looked at this issue way to long. What a simple answer. Delete confirmation popup should occur within the object being deleted, terrible user interface.
