Can not import 1099 from Vanguard

Can not import 1099-r or 1099-div from Vanguard. I enter account number and document id and it says the import is complete, but it is not. I was never asked for my Vanguard username/password. What I am missing?

Turbotax Premier on Windows 11 desktop. Long time turbotax user and have imported many form in the past. What is different this year?

I am attempting to import data from Fidelity and Vanguard. Neither import works even though the browser windows claims it was successful.
