You have to ask Edward Jones. It might not be ready yet to import. Most won't be read until February.
You are probably trying to import too soon. Usually financial institutions have the information online for you to view or print earlier than they have it ready for importing into the tax software. It is often about mid-February before you can import 1099R's, 1099B's , etc.
Thanks for the quick reply,
The forms are available, This is for one of my family members,
I was able to download others with no issues (have 2 more accounts).
Says user id/pw is not correct, I can sign on on in the same computer without any issues (tried 10/15 times).
I have done last year, it worked (doing it for few years),
Very frustrating not sure if it is EJ's issue
Having the same issue. says userid and password is invalid.
Please follow the instructions here to import the 1099. If you are unable to import, then you will need to manually enter the 1099.
I cannot download my taxes from Edward Jones.
I found that I had to be signed into my Edward Jones account online so that it could download. I suspect it has something to do with the secondary verification requirement.
Signing into my Edward Jones account first didn't work for me.
You may review this thread and see if any if the proposed suggestions help to fix your problem @Robert Lindahl.
When I was signed in to my Edward Jones account in Chrome, I was not able to import in TurboTax.
But when I signed into Edward Jones from Edge browser, TurboTax WAS able to connect to Edward Jones and import my forms.
Go figure!! I had the opposite result.
