If you are 65 or older TurboTax will file your return on form 1040-SR if allowed depending on the tax forms and schedules needed. You will have to check the requirements of the discount offer you mention to see if you qualify for that.

I don't think there is a senior  discount.  Turbo Tax automatically gives you the 1040-SR if you or your spouse is 65 and older.    The 1040SR is EXACTLY the same as the regular 1040 just larger type so it goes on 3 pages and the Standard Deduction chart is  on page 4.  But it has the same line numbers. You automatically get the SR if you or your spouse is 65 or older.

In the Online version it will probably show the regular 1040 on the screen but if you print it out or save the pdf it will be the 1040-SR.
