Can I use TT deluxe instead of TT self employed since I've already purchased deluxe?

I did not receive a 1099 since I only earned $3K. Is a schedule C necessary or just add to total wages earned?

You do need a Schedule C to report this income, but if you don't have any expenses to claim for this income, you can continue using Deluxe.
