Can I use 2 different license code on the same computer to file for different people?

I have used the Turbotax desktop version to file my return, and I have a new license code for my son.  How do I Use it on the same computer?

Why do you have 2 different license codes?  For desktop products you can file up to 5 returns using the same product if both persons can use the same product. For instance if both you and your son can use deluxe program you do not need a second program. However if you use deluxe product and your son needs the premier version then you would need both products. to install the second program on your computer you would need to uninstall the one you have and install the second one with its license code. You cannot have 2 different TT programs on the same computer

Another thing you could do is simply upgrade Deluxe to Premier or to Home and Business if one of you needs a higher version.   You can upgrade desktop and just pay the difference between the price for the one you downloaded and the higher version.  There is simply no need to purchase two licenses and you cannot install two versions of 2024 desktop to the same computer at once.   Seek a refund for the second license code you purchased unnecessarily.

To upgrade your desktop version---go up to the tool bar on top of the TT screen  -- top right  --see the >>  click that and you will get "upgrade"
