Can I use 1040A don't have enough deductions

This will depend on your specific tax situation. If your taxable income is less than $100,000 (employment wages), you plan to claim standard deduction and you have no self-employment income, you can use the Form 1040A. Keep in mind, you cannot itemize deductions on this form. However, you can make certain adjustments to your taxable income, such as child tax credits or the deduction for student-loan interest on the 1040A.

And the TurboTax software will select the appropriate form for your situation based on the information that you enter as well.
