Can I redo 1 section without clearing and starting over?

I need to correct info in my income section, but when I try to correct it, I am not given the same questions as before.

Yes,  provided you haven't already filed your tax return, you can go back and make changes.

You may not get the questions that you had previously, but you can edit the information that you posted.

The easiest way to get to the area you want to change is to use the tax topic menu.

Go to the main menu on the left side of the page.

            

1. Select Tax Tools
2. On the drop-down select Tools
3. There will be 4 green boxes
4. Select Topics Search
5. Type the form number or topic. (W-2, 1099-R, SSA-1099 etc.)
6. Continue through the questions and it will be posted to your return.
