Ok ... something on your return keeps triggering it so if you can't delete it then just sit tight ... that form is scheduled to be released 1/23 and since the IRS will not process anything until 1/27 you have time to be patient. Jumping into the pool early this year with all the late form changes is NOT wise ... last year thousands of early filers had their returns hung up in processing for months ... do not volunteer to jump in early.
I delete this form and save the file and open again and it returns. I have NO Div or other income to trigget the need for this form. Please stop this. I see no answer from an TT employee or expert.
Click this link for detailed info on why your tax return is generating Form 8995 (Qualified Business Income Credit).
@windyhorn I'm wondering...did you have a Schedule C business in the past? Form 8995 is directly associated with business income. I'm thinking that, if you had a Schedule C that perhaps transferred over into your 2020 return, that may be triggering the generation of this form.
If you DO have a Schedule C that transferred over from last year, you can use the info I'm linking below to delete that Schedule C.
How do I delete a prior-year Schedule C business that transferred over?
