Wait.....what? If you are using the desktop download, you have to work on the return on a full PC or Mac. You cannot use the desktop download on an iPad or any other mobile device. And, no, you cannot transfer a 2024 tax file from desktop software to 2024 online software.

No you can’t move or transfer a current year return from the Desktop program on Mac or Windows to the Online version or app on an iPad or any mobile device. Are you trying to transfer 2023 into2024 to start?
