the irs sent a letter fore me to send a 1095-A form and a new sheet dealing with the 8962 form

You have to enter your Form 1095-A in TurboTax. Then TurboTax will fill out Form 8962 for you and you can print it out.

Is the letter from the IRS a LTR 12C asking for Form 8962, and possibly other forms? If so, follow the instructions in the FAQ at the following link. At the bottom of the FAQ click the link for the type of TurboTax software that you are using.

I got a 12C letter from the IRS (Form 8962)

And....do you have your 1095A?

To enter your 1095A go to Federal>Deductions and Credits> Medical>Affordable Care Act (Form 1095A)

How to find your 1095-A online

Log in to your account.
Under "Your Existing Applications," select your 2023 application — not your 2024 application.
Select “Tax Forms."
Download all 1095-As.

Get screen-by-screen directions, with pictures (PDF, 504 KB).
