Can I find out how I can get the $39.99 I was charged for twice for filing my taxes?

I filed my taxes near the beginning of Feb., during the process they ask to upgrade to $39.99 and I agreed but at the end I was asked again and was unsure if it was charged earlier so I continued and it charged me again and I couldn’t go back to cancel it.

Did you choose to have the 39.99 deducted from your refund?  That adds an additional 39.99 fee to the total price for that convenience.

Or a state return is a separate 39.99 in all versions above the Free Edition.

I live in Florida and we don’t have state tax

Deducted from your refund?  Yes.  There is an EXTRA 39.99 Refund Processing Service charge to have the fee deducted from your refund.  39.99+39.99=79.98

You could have paid the fee with a credit card to avoid the extra charge.
