Sorry your question is not clear.  You are filling out the 1040 form.  You need to enter any W2, 1099, SSA-1099 and K-1 you get.  You must report all your income even if you don't get a form.  Try asking more specific questions.

unless your return is unusually complicated, in step by step mode TT should ask all the questions needed to file a correct return.  There should be no need to have to refer to IRS code sections and by the way the code is not the ultimate authority.  the SCOTUS and then the other courts are. then there are irs regs which try to explain what the code sections mean or how they apply.
