I suggest you use the IRS Do I Need to File A Tax Return process, which is available at https://www.irs.gov/uac/do-i-need-to-file-a-tax-return
Click "Begin" at the bottom of the page.
If your only income was Social Security and child support, you do not need to file a tax return, and there would be no benefit to doing so. You had no taxable income, nor are you eligible for any credits or refunds.

's answer, and stand by my initial recommendation to use the IRS online tool.
1) If taxes were withheld from Social Security payments, you may not need to file, but you may be entitled to a refund if you do file.
2) You may have carry-over or recapture tax or credit $$ from a previous year which may need to be reported.
3) If
you receive a reduced premium amount at the time of enrollment for health insurance through a Marketplace you may be required to file.
These and more details are examined in the IRS online tool. I recommend you use it.
