My mom is disabled (I'm her designated driver), is 65yrs old, and receives only SSI here in the state of Florida. She's been living with me since August 2024 when I brought her in to live with me in my rented apartment after her last stroke. I do have a 9 to 5 job. Other than the SSI, she receives no other income of any kind and there are no properties or the like that we own. Can I claim her as a dependent on my taxes for this year?
