Can I claim cash rebates given to my clients out of my commissions as deductions?

As a real estate agent, I offer discounts and/or cash rebates at closing to my clients, which comes out of my commissions. Sometimes these are large amounts of money. Can I claim these rebates as deductions?

Yes, you can deduct them.  The important thing is to have documentation if the IRS ever audits you.
