Using the TurboTax software you purchased and installed on a personal computer that you own, you can complete as many tax returns as needed for family and friends.  As long as you are not charging a fee for the tax returns that you complete for someone else.  

The desktop editions come with 5 free federal return e-files.  Any returns completed greater than the 5 free e-files have to be printed and mailed to the IRS (number of e-files set by IRS rules).

If you use TT Free, you must set up a new account for each return.

For Online versions......The Online version is only good for 1 return. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts.  To do another return you have to set up a new account and new user name and pay any fees again. So if you have more than 1 return to do it might be better to buy the Desktop program.  And Desktop has more features.
