Can anyone assist me with why my tax return won't download and open?

It allows me to download but will not open, I was able to successfully download and open my federal just fine.

What file did you download? Is it the pdf file or the .tax2023 file? Are you trying to open a .tax2023 file with the installed Desktop program? There are some extra steps you have to do for that.

What does this mean? "It allows me to download but will not open, I was able to successfully download and open my federal just fine." That sounds like a contradiction. So what won't open?
