Can a tax specialist see my previous marriage name when assisting me with filing?

My boyfriend wants to help me to file my taxes. Would he be able to see if I have been using last name other than my current (maiden) name, while helping me with tax filing? I am divorced and not yet ready to tell this to my bf. I'd like to keep this part discreet.

If you are using online TT, and you use the same online account that has been used for any past tax returns---then yes, your BF will be able to see those. if he tries.   If you are keeping your past a secret, you could start a new account with a new user ID.
