Hello,
When trying to file, I'm getting follwing message:
`On Form W-2 from My Employer, you entered California SDI and/or VPDI greater than $1,183.71. Since the maximum SDI/VPDI withholding for 2019 is $1,183.71, you may have entered an incorrect code on an entry in box 14.`
Yet my w2 was automatically loaded I double checked. CASDI in box 14 in my w2 more than $1,183.71. Does it means my w2 incorrect?

Yes you have to check that with your employer and ask him for the difference over the max. Enter the max on your return so you can still file.
See 540 Instructions Page 13 line 74
How much is in box 14? Yes if your employer took out more you need to get a refund from that employer and a corrected W2. If it's only like one dollar or less difference I wouldn't worry about it. Just change box 14 to $1,183 and leave off the cents.
CASDI = 1218.13 in my w2
Yes you have to check that with your employer and ask him for the difference over the max. Enter the max on your return so you can still file.
