Back wages settlement

Received $26K from California Dept. of Labor and entered it under misc inc other reportable inc description and amount and then hit done.

When I go to review I show fix errors and when I open it 8919T shows.  I will not receive a W-2 nor a 1099. How can I remove the 8919T?

When you entered the income you indicated that it did involve work.  If it did not involve work and was a legal settlement use the steps below to enter this income.

Open your TurboTax return 

1. Click Federal in the left column 
2. Click Wages & Income at the top
3. Scroll down to Less Common Income. Click Show more
4. Start Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
5. Start Other reportable income
6. Say Yes to Any Other Taxable Income?
7. Enter a description and amount
