What is the reason doe the reject? The reject code?
Is there more to the error message or is it simply stating just "processing error"? In the meantime, I am including an FAQ on the steps for fixing a rejected return.
Reject Code F8962-006-01. I filled out the form 1095-A but I guess for some reason form 8962 (I think thats the one, on the phone atm) needs a bit more info which is strange. I filled with turbo before and never had that problem. It would fill out automatically based on the info from 1095-A.
Our information for this code is "This return cannot be electronically filed at this time due to a processing error that will be corrected on February 3, 2022. On, or after February 3, 2022, open the rejected return, review it for errors, and resubmit the return for electronic filing." Of course that date has passed and we do not have an update. I suggest you check back often to see if there has been an update.
The IRS just began accepting e-filed returns on Jan 24th and this early in the season it is not uncommon for there to be updates. Please review the 1095-A area in your return, after February 3rd, when the updates should be in place. Then, refile and it should be accepted.
Now they say it cannot be processed electronically at the time.... You guys have got to be kidding Me....

Please check this IRS forms availability table to make sure all the forms you need for your return are available to be e-filed. Here is the forms availability table state by state.
my state is not listed

Then your state does not have a personal income tax.
Nine states — Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming — have no income taxes.
well it's basically form 8611 because I put in the correct information on my 1095-A, but got return rejected because apparently something went wrong with form 8611, never had this problem before with you guys... and then I can't even 'correct' it to e-file it with you guys....
