Does TurboTax really need a state ID number from Merrill Lynch for1099 - Interest? Merrill Lynch doesn't have one. Is there a work around for this problem?

Are you getting an error for this in the review or error check? If so, entering "XX" or "MX" should clear that error out. Its the code for more than one state which is used when you can't identify which states.

Are you getting an error for this in the review or error check? If so, entering "XX" or "MX" should clear that error out. Its the code for more than one state which is used when you can't identify which states.
