I live in Texas now since 2015. I have a daughter that lives in Oregon at a center for medically fragile children. How do I claim her?

I didn't claim her in 2015 & 2016 because I didn't think I could. No one else claimed her. I've been told through other conversations I should.

How old is she? Who is paying for her care?

She is 19 years old. She doesn't get money but Social Security Disability pays for her nursing care and room.

I don't think you can claim her; as she does not live with you; her absence is not temporary, and the govt is supporting her

Ok glad I didn't file her on my taxes these last year's. Should I be filing taxes State and IRS for her? She is disabled and can not work. She has no income.

No. No tax return is needed to be filed for her.
