Can I get a refund if my return was rejected and I have to file a paper return?

No.  The TurboTax fee is for using the software to prepare your return.  There is not an extra fee to e-file.  The fee is the same whether you e-file or put it in an envelope and mail it in.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return.
