Amazon Gift Card

Last year I refereed a friend to TurboTax in exchange for the promotional 25 Amazon Gift Card, never had a response or email. Is this false advertisement where consumer protection should be involved?

I used the refer and earn link and someone else filed their taxes with it, this was two months ago. They have already received their tax return, I still have no gift card
