My husband already filled out his tax forms with us filing jointly. Why is my account still asking me to fill out information to file on my own? Am I meant to also file jointly from my account, or should I just ignore it? This is my first year filing as a married person and I'm very confused

Ignore the message you received for your TurboTax online account. Since you are now married and filing as Married Filing Jointly on the other account you can just abandon your account.
When you file a joint return you put ALL of your combined information on that same tax return. No, you do not file a return of your own if your spouse filed a joint return correctly and included all of your information and income. Ignore the messages that are coming from your old account.
