Alabama State Tax Return - Pensions/Annuities/IRAs Income Exclusion Worksheet

In my Alabama State Return, there is a support worksheet that has an abbreviated title in TurboTax called "Pen Excl Wks" and its full name is in the Subject line of this message.  There is a "T/S" column which for the different distributions listed, refers to being owned by "T" taxpayer, or "S" spouse.  But what does it mean to have the box in the T/S Column checked or unchecked?

The checkbox is a special indicator that indicates that the pension/retirement income on that line isn't taxable to Alabama. The line under this box will give a "T" or "S" to indicate whether the income belongs to the taxpayer or spouse.
