AGI Deductions from total income

My AGI as listed on my 2022 return is over $7000 less than the total income number determined at the end of the Turbo Tax income input section.  Why is that?  What makes up the deduction?

What line numbers on the 1040?  If you are looking at a summary screen or review screen those show the full amount as income and lump a lot of stuff together. You need to check the actual 1040 form and make sure it's right. 

Your AGI Adjusted Gross Income is on line 11.  Then you subtract either the Standard Deduction or your Itemized Deductions whichever is more to give you the taxable income on line 15..
