My return was rejected multiple times on Oct 15 because I couldn't get the 2019 AGI right. The actual number from last year (rounded both up and down) as well as "0" did not work. To be fair, I filed my 2019 taxes by mail on the day before Thanksgiving 2019. So maybe they haven't gotten to mine yet.
I tried logging in to IRS.gov, to find out what they say my 2019 AGI was, but it told me my account wasn't active. The only method it gave me to activate it was to request a code be sent to me by mail in 5 to 10 days. So I told them to send it, but I figured I was toast now, I'd have to file by mail.
I went back today to download my forms for my tax return and discovered that it would still let me "fix" my return and e-file instead of printing and mailing. I tried it with the original 2019 AGI I had, for the heck of it, but it still didn't work. Meanwhile my activation code still hasn't come from the IRS. I've requested it be sent again.
My question is if anyone knows how long I have to "fix" my return in TurboTax and still use e-file, rather than having to print and mail. I thought it would've ended at the stroke of midnight on the night of the 15th. I'm hoping they'll give me enough time to still get this activation code from the IRS. Obviously I'd rather e-file than print and mail.

E-filing is closed now. Your 2020 return can only be filed by mail now. Print it, sign it in ink and mail it in.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
Then why did it let me "fix" the return and e-file again just today? And within an hour the IRS had rejected it (again)?
Efiling thru the TT system is now closed ... you must now print & mail in the return.
Then why did it let me "fix" the return and e-file again just yesterday? And within an hour the IRS had rejected it (again)?
Don't know as I cannot see your account ... but if the AGI is the rejection and you have used both the 2019 AGI and the zero alternative and was rejected both times then all you can do now is mail in the return.
