Are you saying that you have already received a $3000 federal refund or was that just what the system showed as your anticipated refund? Did you possibly file a state return after federal for which you are receiving a refund as well? Just want to gain some more clarity so that we may better assist.
I've already received my $3000 federal refund (which is what I anticipated), but my State was rejected. When I went to revisit my state it showed an anticipated $4000 for my federal refund.
I appreciate the help!
Did you have any changes due to the unemployment? If this is the case and it only involves unemployment you should not amend your Federal.
