Address on my taxes, old address or PO Box?

Hello,
I am confused with what address to add for my taxes. We lived and worked in the US for 11 months in 2023, in the beginning on December 2023 I closed the lease and since then I am living temporary abroad, with the intention to return sometime this summer. Now I am filling taxes, Turbotax application is asking for Mailing address. My question is what address do I add there ( for federal and state):

1) old address - the one I resided almost the whole 2023

2) My PO BOX address (in PO BOX format)

3) My PO Box in the street and number format.( ex. 1210 Jonson st, #56, Miami, FL)

4) The foreign address

Thanks in advance

Use the address you want the IRS to use if they need to mail you a letter or a check.

Address on my taxes, old address or PO Box?

If is simple like that I would rather use PO BOX address, but in 1040 instruction it says "Enter your box number only if your post office doesn't deliver mail to your home."

In my particular situation, there will be no issues if I put PO BOX ? more over, there is no PO BOX format to enter, is street address format in the platform.

please advice.

If you have no home address, you will need to use your PO box since that appears to be the only way to send mail to you. If you do not have a home address for them to send it and you use your old address, whoever is living there now would get your mail from the IRS.

You can either use your PO box or your foreign address, whichever one you will receive mail to.  Do not add additional information on a location you do not live.
