activating with account

I purchased a Desktop product.  I believe that Intuit is saving my product's key to an Intuit account.  Since I'm filing separately from my wife, I've installed the product on two PCs and intend to activate with the same key.  Can I activate on my PC with my Intuit account and activate on her PC with her own Inuit account?  I don't want to mix e-file records.  Thanks.

No.  Only 1 account.  Can she use your computer? Or she can log into your account.   How to install with a License Code

And once you install from the CD it might not let you use the CD again and not let you download it either.

You should be able to install the product on 5 different computers (use the code 5 times).

Yes, I've installed on multiple PCs in previous years.  However, this year's activation requires an Intuit account.  So I'm asking about activating the same key with multiple Intuit accounts.
