i bought 2025 turbo tax online when filing 2024 taxes. i have th\e 16 digit code and entered it in the correct place. i get an error message that it is wrong code

You need to talk to Customer Support.

It isn't clear whether you actually bought a 2024 download or a 2025 download.

A 2025 download set wouldn't normally be available while filing 2024 taxes.....unless you actually signed up for TTX "Advantage"....but a talk with Customer Support might clear that up.
