2024 California 3804-CR - cannot enter number into Part II Line 4 "Enter the amount of the credit claimed on the current tax return"

I had to use Forms mode to go to the 541 and set line 23 "Credits" to code 242 (PTE) and set the amount.

Then I go to 3804-CR and try to enter number into Part II Line 4 "Enter the amount of the credit claimed on the current tax return" but it doesn't let me type into that field. 

This seems like a bug and now I cannot file with an incorrect 3804-CR.
