The IRS has sent me a letter saying I owe more money the difference is my $1,700 deduction for being over 65 years old. I don't understand why I don't get this deduction. Is TurboTax wrong? Or is the IRS agent Wrong? I have got this every year sense I reached age 65. Does it have to do with the 87,000 new rookies IRS Agents they hired?
