2021 income

Hello,

I have entered my income and all I had were two retirements which totaled 29,856.

It is showing an amount of $2340 for other income or loss.  Where did this come from?

It is showing a total of $32,196 for income.  Should only be $29856.

You need to view your return. Please follow these steps:

• If you are using the online version:
  1. go to Tax Tools,
  2. then select Tools,
  3. select View Tax Summary,
  4. on the left side, select Preview My 1040.
• In the desktop program, switch to forms mode.

On the 1040, lines 5a and 5b show your pension income and taxable amount. Scroll through your return and locate where the other income is showing. Perhaps sch 1? Once you find what income is showing and where, we can work with the program.
