2019 TurboTax Home & Business , I trapped on the download CA state loop

I am trapped in the same CA download circle.  the program checks for updates, says i'm up to date but when i click on start, it goes back to checking updates in an endless circle.  Where do i get a working copy of california??

This FAQ  tells how to resolve it (hopefully) if you are using the Windows version of TurboTax:

If you continue to have problems, speak by phone with the TurboTax Support.  If they can't resolve it, they may send you a download installation file of the CA state program.
