2019 Taxes

I bought Turbo Tax 2018 and didnt use it. I have auto renew and have been billed for it already this year. Downloaded updates. I'm try to work on 2019 taxes and it keeps returning to the 2018 tax year.

It sounds like you only updated the 2018 software.  You need to make sure you have installed the 2019 software as it is a different program totally separate from the 2018 software.  If you have already paid for it, it can be found in your download account which can be accessed by clicking on this link.

so, I have to start over? I was almost done. I am confused. I thought I purchased it. Then got  the impression I would not be charged until I submitted it. What the hell happens with the work I did 4 weeks ago. Turbotax seemed happy to let me proceed. I thought I bought TT  2019 Premier. Evidently I use 2018 TT?!? how does that happen.

So, I  need to go somewhere on the Turbo web site make a purchase down load and start over 2019? This is a first. I have never had a problem. I am not sure about on-line.

For online versions just go here.  Scroll down to Premiere and "Start for free."  If you have an account you will be asked to sign in.  You don't have to pay until you are done and ready to file.
