2019 didn't upload to 2020 on the disk when first tinstalled

I saw the software was asking to download the 2019 info to 2020, but it did not.  I have now finished imputing all the 2020 info.  Is it possible to have 2019 loss carry forward integrate over to 2020?? please advise, thanks.

Sorry no.  You can only transfer from 2019 at the beginning into a new blank return.  The only way now is to start over, go to File-New.  Did it find your 2019 return to transfer?  You need to have the dat file ending in .tax2019 on your computer to transfer.  

Otherwise you will have to manually enter any 2019 info.

Enter a Capital Loss Carryover under

Federal Taxes or Personal (Home & Business)

Wages and Income

Then scroll down to Investment Income

Capital Loss Carryovers - Click the Start or Update button
