2 DIFFERENT TURBO TAX PROGRAMS

I purchased Turbo Tax home and Business and is downloaded on my desktop computer. I just purchased Turbo tax deluxe desktop edition on Amazon but when I tried to put it on my desktop it want to remove my business program and I do not want that. Any ideas?

You can't have two different personal versions of TurboTax on the same computer (e.g., TurboTax Premier and TurboTax Home & Business).

You can have a personal version and TurboTax Business on the same computer, however.

TurboTax Home & Business can do everything that Deluxe can do. There should be no need to have both.

I need both because I help out my kids and grand kids. I can only do 5 on 1program

Actually you can do unlimited returns in the Desktop program.   You can only efile 5.  That is a IRS limit.   How did you have 2 programs before?   

There is a way to have 2 licenses. Under Help - Switch Product - Activate new product.  Don't know what that will do or what benefit you will get.  Don't think it will allow you to efile more than 5 or get another free state.

Using two different programs will not allow you to bypass the IRS limit of 5 e-files.
