17yr old received $7K in unemployment in 2020. No taxes withheld. How do we enter on our return? (when I add another 1099-G it asks if me or my spouse, but not my child.)

You do not report your son's income on your return.

You can claim him as a dependent.

As his unemployment income is less than $12,400, he is not required to file a tax return.
