Have 1099MISC for referring football games. Why is TT treating it like I owned a business and having to fill out all these extra schedules that will be all zeros? Just want to declare income.

It depends.
If you are a referee as part of a business with the intent to make money, it would be considered a self-employed business. You would be subject to self-employment taxes but would be able to deduct expenses incurred as part of this venture.
If you are reporting this income as self-employment income, you will do the following in the Federal interview section:
However, if you are just doing on the side as a hobby, it would not be considered a business. You will need to report the income but will not be able to report any expenses.
If it is not from self-employment, you would enter the information as follows:
You will then select "Other reportable income"to enter your income from your 1099-Misc.
